Ahmed Farid Mahmoud, a contemporary Egyptian litterateur, novelist and film critic. He is a member of the Egyptian Modern Literature Federation and the Egyptian Writers and Film Critics Association. He has written more than six novels, including Only Love Is Not Enough, When Men Weep, Forgive Me, Love!, Don't Blame Me for Being with You and Let Me Try.

Wang Fu, born in 1945, is a senior translator. He graduated from the Department of Arabic, School of Oriental Languages and Literatures, Peking University in 1969. He studied in the Faculty of Arts, University of Baghdad from 1979 to 1981. He was the chief editor of the Arabic version of China Today magazine of China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration. He has published more than 80 translated works in different fields, including novels, poetry, literary reviews, culture, history, philosophy, medicine and religion. For example, literary works like A Sad Smile (Syria), Reflections on Turning Seventy (Lebanon) and Mukam (China); literary reviews like Literature and Literary Criticism (Bahrain); poetry like The Suspended Odes (Arabic classics), Characters and Colors (Saudi Arabia) and Selected Poems of Chen Yi (China); history works like A General History of the Jews (Egypt); philosophy works like The Everlasting Son of Awakening: The Story of Hayy ibn Yaqzan (Arabic classics).
