Arabia has been a kingdom of poetry since ancient times. Poetry holds the highest position in literature with the greatest achievements, followed by prose. In modern times, prose has first become equally important as poetry and then taken the leading position. The Arab concept of prose is rather broad. Works with rhythm are considered poetry, while those without rhythm are prose. All non - poetic works fall into the category of prose. The 20th century was a period of great development and the highest achievement for Arab prose. This collection includes 66 works in various forms by 49 writers or poets from 10 countries, namely Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, and Kuwait. It generally outlines the development path of prose from revival to prosperity and showcases the elegance of generations of prose writers. The contributions of Lebanese and Egyptian writers to the development of prose are invaluable, demonstrating the strength of major cultural countries.
