He graduated from the Arabic major of Beijing Institute of Foreign Trade (now University of International Business and Economics) in 1965, and then entered the Arabic Broadcasting Department of China Radio International, working there until retirement. During his work, he was assigned to cover many major domestic and international events, and served as the first correspondent of the Cairo correspondent station of China Radio International. Wu Huixuan is a senior translator, journalist, and interpreter. She graduated from the Arabic major of Shanghai Institute of Foreign Languages (now Shanghai International Studies University) in 1968 and worked in the Arabic Broadcasting Department of China Radio International until retirement. During her work, she went to Arab countries for work and study several times. She served as the chief correspondent of the Doha correspondent station of China Radio International twice, participated in the coverage of many major domestic and international events, and has published several translations and works. In 2012, she received the honorary certificate of "Senior Translator" from the Translators Association of China.
