I am neither a historian nor a scholar. I have merely experienced firsthand certain changes, trends, and the events that gave rise to them. I merely wish to clarify their ambiguous meanings and their impacts on humanity in the near - term and the future. I divide my life into three stages: from childhood to the end of my study life in Russia; my time in the United States; and from my return to my homeland until now.

Mikhail Naimy is a Lebanese writer, poet, and literary critic of the Lebanese diaspora in America. In 1906, he studied at the Ukrainian Theological Seminary in Russia. In 1911, he went to the United States to study theology, law, and literature. In 1926, he founded the "Pen League" with Kahlil Gibran and others. In April 1932, he returned to his homeland and settled down. His works cover short and medium - length novels, plays, poems, essays, biographies, literary criticisms, and translations. In 1970, his complete works were published. In his later years, he was awarded the highest literary award in Lebanon - the "Lebanese Cedar Medal".

Wang Fu: A senior translator. He was the former chief editor of the Arabic version of China Today magazine of the China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration. His main translations include The Mu'allaqat, Characters and Colors, A History of the Jews, etc. He has also undertaken a large amount of publicity translation and final - draft work. In 2011, he was awarded the "Senior Translator" honorary certificate by the Translators Association of China. He is currently the deputy director of the Arabic Expert Committee of the Expert Committee for the National Accreditation (Level) Examinations for Translators and Interpreters. Lu Xiaoxiu: A senior translator. In 2013, he was awarded the "Senior Translator" honorary certificate by the Translators Association of China.
