China has hosted multiple events to accelerate the "going global" of Chinese children's books. China has been invited as the "Market Focus Country" for the first time at this year's Bologna Children's Book Fair. Notably, China is the sole "Market Focus Country" at this edition, benefiting from increased exhibition space, more exhibitors, and a series of market focus events during the fair. Over 60 leading Chinese publishing groups, children's publishers, and printing companies are participating. Through exhibitions of high-quality books, author dialogues, and promotional activities for printing products, they aim to showcase the achievements of China's children's publishing industry and actively promote Chinese children's books to the world.

The Chinese book exhibition area features over 2,500 carefully selected children's books, highlighting works such as "Stories of Chinese Pioneers", "Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture Children's Picture Book Series", as well as original literary works like "The Three-Body Problem Comic" and "Bronze and Sunflower". Through books, China shares its stories, enhancing readers' understanding of contemporary China, particularly among young readers, and fostering a shared vision of a community with a common future for mankind.
