Works

Ma Jinpeng was diligent throughout his life, and his translations and writings spanned multiple fields, including grammar, religion, and literature. The publication of his translation of The Travels of Ibn Battuta provided valuable materials for the study of Sino-Western communication history and also promoted friendship between China and Morocco. In his later years, despite his frail health, Ma Jinpeng spent nearly a decade translating and publishing The Annotated Translation of the Quran. His translation of The Biography of Abu Hanifa, completed during his lifetime, was published fifteen years after his passing.
